If you miss a dose of Atorvastatin, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is more than 12 hours late for the dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time.

Things to Avoid While Taking Atorvastatin:

• Avoid consuming foods high in fat or cholesterol as they can reduce the effectiveness of the medication.
• Drinking alcohol while taking Atorvastatin may increase the risk of liver damage.
• Grapefruit and grapefruit juice can interact with Atorvastatin and cause side effects. It is advisable to avoid consuming grapefruit products and drinking more than 1.2 liters of grapefruit juice per day.
