Drug Interactions with Dupixent:
Inform your healthcare provider about all the medications you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Pay particular attention if you:
- Take oral, topical, or inhaled corticosteroid medicines or use an asthma medicine.
- Have atopic dermatitis, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis, eosinophilic esophagitis, or prurigo nodularis, and also have asthma.
Do not alter or discontinue your corticosteroid medicine or other asthma medicine without consulting your healthcare provider, as doing so may cause the return of symptoms that were previously controlled by these medications. This is not an exhaustive list, and other drugs may interact with dupilumab, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. It is important to discuss all possible drug interactions with your healthcare provider.
Storage:
Store Dupixent (dupilumab) refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) in the original carton to protect it from light. A prefilled syringe or injection pen may be stored at cool room temperature for up to 14 days. Do not store it above 25°C (77°F). If the medicine is not used within 14 days, discard it. Do not return it to the refrigerator or expose it to heat or direct sunlight. Do not freeze or shake Dupixent.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredient: Dupilumab.
Inactive Ingredients: L-arginine hydrochloride, L-histidine, polysorbate 80, sodium acetate, sucrose, and water for injection.
The pre-filled syringe is available in the following strengths: 300mg/2mL, 200mg/1.14mL, and 100mg/0.67mL.
The pre-filled pen is available in the following strengths: 300mg/2mL and 200mg/1.14mL.
